The attack was good, but when Benjarat Keawdongta in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 8 minutes into the match, Ban Ko Tao's goal looked a bit too open when Benjarat Keawdongta came free, but Somboon Pornpradit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Runchit Jirawanna in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sak Phanthaneeya saved Ban Tam from getting behind. Sak Phanthaneeya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Runchit Jirawanna, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Somkiat Luangtraiwong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sak Phanthaneeya made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Mongkol Kongmee sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mongkol Kongmee sped through Ban Tam's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sak Phanthaneeya. Sak Phanthaneeya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Runchit Jirawanna, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Sak Phanthaneeya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mongkol Kongmee in the 31st minute. Kittipat Kanjanakunton's late challenge caught a Ban Tam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kittipat Kanjanakunton helped the player get up and apologised. Kittipat Kanjanakunton hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Runchit Jirawanna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ban Tam's Sak Phanthaneeya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ban Tam from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Runchit Jirawanna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ban Ko Tao's supporters rose to their feet, but Runchit Jirawanna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sak Phanthaneeya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Benjarat Keawdongta made the kick off in the second half. Ban Tam's Sak Phanthaneeya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mongkol Kongmee in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Ban Tam's goal looked a bit too open when Mongkol Kongmee came free, but Sak Phanthaneeya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Runchit Jirawanna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Somboon Pornpradit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjarat Keawdongta in the 66th minute of play. Chayanin Samran took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Somboon Pornpradit. Somboon Pornpradit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ban Ko Tao's Sanya Ramkaew got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Runchit Jirawanna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sak Phanthaneeya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mongkol Kongmee in the 79th minute of play forced Ban Tam's goalkeeper Sak Phanthaneeya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sak Phanthaneeya came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Ban Ko Tao's Mongkol Kongmee. But to his dismay, Mongkol Kongmee quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ban Tam fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ban Ko Tao a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benjaphon Jaidee, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ban Tam's Sak Phanthaneeya. 3-1. In the 93rd minute, Benjarat Keawdongta made a precise shot to the right of Somboon Pornpradit. Ban Ko Tao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 96 minutes into the game, Runchit Jirawanna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ban Ko Tao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ban Tam the free kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ban Ko Tao fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ban Tam had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
