The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Songsak Thanomjit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sarote Nualchan having to interfere. If Songsak Thanomjit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ban Thi Phu Ji's Pattapon Janmee couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ban Glang. Saksit Tuntisirin struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sarote Nualchan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ban Thi Phu Ji. In the 18th minute, Winai Peerapattana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Songsak Thanomjit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sarote Nualchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanapol Jankaew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 29 minutes, Tanapol Jankaew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ban Glang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanapol Jankaew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Songsak Thanomjit came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ban Thi Phu Ji fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Songsak Thanomjit couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ban Glang's zone, Saksit Tuntisirin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sarote Nualchan came out of the goal and Saksit Tuntisirin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Somboon Janwong made a kick off. Phanuwat Charoenpol was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wittawath Tongdang. 61 minutes into the match, Ban Thi Phu Ji's goal looked a bit too open when Chadchawal Jiantiw came free, but Phanuwat Charoenpol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Ban Thi Phu Ji was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sompoth Sangwanpet to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Saksit Tuntisirin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ban Glang's Sarote Nualchan. Sarote Nualchan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ban Thi Phu Ji's Songsak Thanomjit got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nattaphong Bunyaruch kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Songsak Thanomjit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sarote Nualchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Tanapol Jankaew got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Korayot Noipoung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Ban Glang's goal looked a bit too open when Songsak Thanomjit came free, but Sarote Nualchan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarote Nualchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saksit Tuntisirin in the 94th minute of play. Ban Thi Phu Ji walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
