Pitinon Satarom took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pongpipat Jantharachot. Pongpipat Jantharachot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Rungrueng Boonpetrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pitinon Satarom couldn't finish the play. Rungrueng Boonpetrat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Yongyuth Musiprom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 45th match minute, Ban Hnong Ri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuttapong Janwong to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ban Pa Kluai's Thunyathorn Khirnduangchan tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pongpipat Jantharachot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teerapong Insawat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pitinon Satarom to strike the kick off in the second half. When Rungrueng Boonpetrat came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Ban Pa Kluai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rungrueng Boonpetrat couldn't finish the play. Rungrueng Boonpetrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rungrueng Boonpetrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Yongyuth Musiprom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panuchai Rattanamani kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ban Hnong Ri's zone, Welapong Cheepang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yongyuth Musiprom came out of the goal and Welapong Cheepang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yongyuth Musiprom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Welapong Cheepang, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Teerapong Insawat struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Pongpipat Jantharachot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ban Hnong Ri. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Welapong Cheepang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ban Pa Kluai's supporters rose to their feet, but Welapong Cheepang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yongyuth Musiprom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
