After 30 played minutes Ban Nai Sang got a freekick which was hit by Tanayot Nakkum. Sujin Chaiprakhon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sorasak Duanyai in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anucha Ngiwtong in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wat Phuphanin saved Lap Lea from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jetnipat Siharach to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sorawut Jaiyen got free with Wat Phuphanin in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wat Phuphanin made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Poppan Taweepan sent off a good shot on target. If Jetnipat Siharach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lap Lea had won after a very even match.
