The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Bang Khu Raut:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Majohm:s goal. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Majohm. Theerachai Bandarun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Narongsak Inlao. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pattanasak Nuntapaibool stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Parinya Rattanamani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narongsak Inlao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pattanasak Nuntapaibool's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Ritpol Kajornboonpasook made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phomvit Tongjun in the 70th minute of play. Phomvit Tongjun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ritpol Kajornboonpasook having to make a save. Ritpol Kajornboonpasook showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tharin Borvornpattarakomol, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Tharadorn Hamslamad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ritpol Kajornboonpasook having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Phiphat Kantongdee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kritrat Wangwuttikorn was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Phomvit Tongjun struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ritpol Kajornboonpasook didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bang Khu Raut. Ritpol Kajornboonpasook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tharin Borvornpattarakomol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panuwat Janmee hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Phomvit Tongjun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ritpol Kajornboonpasook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
