After a defensive mix-up in Ban Nok Ten's zone, Nattaphong Kunchana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chalermsak Janjitkoon came out of the goal and Nattaphong Kunchana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chalermsak Janjitkoon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tana Chaiprakhon in the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Wattapong Intariya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Rungphat Tangtammajit from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Chalermsak Janjitkoon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Somchin Maspakorn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Bunyarit Nuntapaibool had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siwarak Phrommakaew. Ban Naung Kio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bunyarit Nuntapaibool was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ban Nok Ten's Chalermsak Janjitkoon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tana Chaiprakhon in the 32nd minute of play. Ban Naung Kio's Siwarak Phrommakaew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Somchin Maspakorn in the 33rd minute of play. If Tana Chaiprakhon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ban Naung Kio's Wipol Hochairat shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Chalermsak Janjitkoon but with some difficulty. Nattaphong Kunchana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The supporters of Ban Naung Kio booed when Ban Nok Ten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tornchaya Chiyanan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ban Nok Ten's Chalermsak Janjitkoon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tana Chaiprakhon in the 56th minute of play. Kamthorn Tangkitladawal kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Bunyarit Nuntapaibool recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chalermsak Janjitkoon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tana Chaiprakhon's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Somchin Maspakorn might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siwarak Phrommakaew. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Somchin Maspakorn ran back to his position shaking his head. Siwarak Phrommakaew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bunyarit Nuntapaibool, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kritanai Noozeng kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Ban Nok Ten's goal looked a bit too open when Tana Chaiprakhon came free, but Chalermsak Janjitkoon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Somchin Maspakorn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siwarak Phrommakaew having to make a save. After 88 played minutes Ban Nok Ten got a freekick which was hit by Watchara Katinhom. When Bunyarit Nuntapaibool came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ban Nok Ten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bunyarit Nuntapaibool couldn't finish the play. Ban Naung Kio's Siwarak Phrommakaew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bunyarit Nuntapaibool in the 94th minute of play. Ban Nok Ten's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
