Ban Kweang's Tana Kanjanakunton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Watcharane Chomchoei in the 25th minute of play. Pongpipat Nuchanapai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Poj Toyangyuen fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ban Kweang's protests and gave Poj Toyangyuen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Wipat Kewklangmueng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tana Kanjanakunton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Watcharane Chomchoei, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.
