The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chaiyaporn Dansuwan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napapon Pattarayukontron in the 5th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thanabat Junthaha in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chaiyaporn Dansuwan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Narong Muangjuey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tanakorn Phoowacharoonkun. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napapon Pattarayukontron in the 14th minute of play forced Ban Khok Yai (1)'s goalkeeper Chaiyaporn Dansuwan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Ban Nong Si Nuan's Thanabat Junthaha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chaiyaporn Dansuwan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Athip Kongmat charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Athip Kongmat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Athip Kongmat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ban Nong Si Nuan's Ekkamol Sayamon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ban Khok Yai (1). If Adiwut Harnsri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Ban Khok Yai (1) was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Athip Kongmat to maneuver through the defense. Ekkamol Sayamon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chaiyaporn Dansuwan. Ban Khok Yai (1)'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ban Nong Si Nuan's Wara Singjarnusong got a free kick in the 29th minute. A collision led to Ban Nong Si Nuan getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Thaworn Chantudom hit a great ball. Tanakorn Phoowacharoonkun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narong Muangjuey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Napapon Pattarayukontron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanabat Junthaha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narong Muangjuey to make the kick off. Tanakorn Phoowacharoonkun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narong Muangjuey, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 59th minute Watchraphan Phayuwane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanakorn Phoowacharoonkun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute Napapon Pattarayukontron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chaiyaporn Dansuwan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chaiyaporn Dansuwan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanabat Junthaha in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wisittipong Sanhatham during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ban Nong Si Nuan getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Wisittipong Sanhatham hit a great ball. Narong Muangjuey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Parudtarit Phontongtin fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ban Nong Si Nuan's protests and gave Parudtarit Phontongtin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ban Nong Si Nuan getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Parudtarit Phontongtin hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Ban Khok Yai (1)'s goal looked a bit too open when Thanabat Junthaha came free, but Chaiyaporn Dansuwan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ban Khok Yai (1) booed when Ban Nong Si Nuan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wara Singjarnusong didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Napapon Pattarayukontron got free with Chaiyaporn Dansuwan in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Narong Muangjuey came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ban Khok Yai (1) fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narong Muangjuey couldn't finish the play. Chaiyaporn Dansuwan was a little too slow when Napapon Pattarayukontron got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-1. Ban Nong Si Nuan's Napapon Pattarayukontron was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanabat Junthaha in the 98th minute of play forced Ban Khok Yai (1)'s goalkeeper Chaiyaporn Dansuwan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
