Siriwat Treerattanakasem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jetsada Chanpleng having to interfere. Thinnakorn Chaiya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Thiradet Thongjib made a huge save. Jetsada Chanpleng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siriwat Treerattanakasem in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Ban Lam Chan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narongrit Chananarong to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Siriwat Treerattanakasem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jetsada Chanpleng was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
56 minutes into the game, Thinnakorn Chaiya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ban Lam Chan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ban Song Khwae the free kick. In the 56th minute, Thinnakorn Chaiya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiradet Thongjib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Somkid Hunvongtham in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ban Song Khwae's Teerawat Kumdee got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Somkid Hunvongtham in the 60th minute of play forced Ban Song Khwae's goalkeeper Thiradet Thongjib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Somkid Hunvongtham came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ban Lam Chan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Somkid Hunvongtham couldn't finish the play. When Narongrit Chananarong fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ban Lam Chan's protests and gave Narongrit Chananarong a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ban Lam Chan getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Narongrit Chananarong hit a great ball. Jetsada Chanpleng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chaodin Chasuwan in the 84th minute. Sombat Phrombut kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Chumphol Ngamdan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thiradet Thongjib. Ban Song Khwae's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thiradet Thongjib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Somkid Hunvongtham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thinnakorn Chaiya in the 91st minute of play forced Ban Song Khwae's goalkeeper Thiradet Thongjib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Somkid Hunvongtham struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Thiradet Thongjib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ban Lam Chan. Jetsada Chanpleng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siriwat Treerattanakasem in the 99th minute. The Ban Lam Chan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ban Song Khwae's performance. The match ended with a win for Ban Song Khwae.
