The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jakkavut Juiruke hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Borom Warasilp took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jakkrit Pertoy. Ban Chiang Klang's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Apichart Pimphapun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jamroon Charoenpol went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jakkavut Juiruke kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Komen Ngamsuwan struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jakkrit Pertoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ban Bang Mafuang. When Siriwit Charuwatkul came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Ban Bang Mafuang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siriwit Charuwatkul couldn't finish the play. Apichart Pimphapun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamroon Charoenpol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ban Chiang Klang's Jakkrit Pertoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Komen Ngamsuwan in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Anan Changna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ban Bang Mafuang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ban Chiang Klang the free kick. Anan Changna hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Komen Ngamsuwan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ban Chiang Klang's Jakkrit Pertoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jakkrit Pertoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Komen Ngamsuwan in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Jirayuth Saetang sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Apichart Pimphapun skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Ban Chiang Klang were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Komen Ngamsuwan made a kick off. Siriwit Charuwatkul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jakkrit Pertoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakkrit Pertoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Komen Ngamsuwan in the 60th minute of play. When Ban Bang Mafuang's Komen Ngamsuwan in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ban Chiang Klang's goalie prevented a goal. If Siriwit Charuwatkul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakkrit Pertoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siriwit Charuwatkul in the 64th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Wijai Mingmuang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Apichart Pimphapun. The goal made the score 0-2. Jamroon Charoenpol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siriwit Charuwatkul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakkrit Pertoy having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Komen Ngamsuwan in the 89th minute of play forced Ban Chiang Klang's goalkeeper Jakkrit Pertoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Komen Ngamsuwan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jakkrit Pertoy was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Ban Chiang Klang's Jakkavut Juiruke got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Jakkavut Juiruke off the ground. The supporters of Ban Bang Mafuang booed when Ban Chiang Klang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakkavut Juiruke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Siriwit Charuwatkul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ban Bang Mafuang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siriwit Charuwatkul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chants of Ban Chiang Klang echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ban Bang Mafuang had held the ball for most of the match.
