Ban Faek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khwanchai Bunying was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sukit Jamparueng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanut Tangkitladawal in the 8th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rungpun Wongkad during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Tha Khun got a freekick which was hit by Rungpun Wongkad. A collision led to Ban Faek getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Choochat Phomnin hit a great ball. After 24 minutes, Thanut Tangkitladawal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ban Faek and the Tha Khun players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanut Tangkitladawal hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Ban Faek's Sommit Sinarurad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nareupat Sangkrajay in the 25th minute of play. Sukit Jamparueng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanut Tangkitladawal, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Kasem Laemthaisong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ban Faek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tha Khun the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ban Faek's Kasem Laemthaisong got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nopporn Jinawong in the 47th minute of play forced Tha Khun's goalkeeper Sukit Jamparueng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nareupat Sangkrajay made a kick off. Sukit Jamparueng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Etoo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Etoo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sukit Jamparueng saved Tha Khun from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Tha Khun's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Etoo came free, but Sukit Jamparueng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Chadchawal Poldee shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sommit Sinarurad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ban Faek's Samuel Etoo got a free kick in the 61st minute. Sukit Jamparueng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khwanchai Bunying, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanut Tangkitladawal scored 0-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sukit Jamparueng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nareupat Sangkrajay struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Sommit Sinarurad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tha Khun. After 74 played minutes Ban Faek got a freekick which was hit by Choochat Phomnin. Tha Khun's Sittiphon Malarat got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ban Faek getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Kasem Laemthaisong hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Samuel Etoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sukit Jamparueng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Thanut Tangkitladawal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ban Faek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 96 minutes, Choochat Phomnin mouthed his way into the referee's book. When the match was over Ban Faek could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tha Khun throughout the match.
