Cliff Sujatmiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sukma Parengkuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Koreak's Heri Mihardja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Poerwonegoro in the 19th minute of play. Harvey Lumbanraja who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Cliff Sujatmiko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, PSS Kedungcaluk's goalkeeper Cliff Sujatmiko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harvey Lumbanraja. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Soeprapto in the 46th minute of play forced PSS Kedungcaluk's goalkeeper Cliff Sujatmiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Sukma Parengkuan made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Poerwonegoro got free with Heri Mihardja in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind PSS Kedungcaluk's goalkeeper Cliff Sujatmiko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cliff Sujatmiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bobby Soeprapto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes PSS Kedungcaluk got a freekick which was hit by Jojo Sinuraya. Cliff Sujatmiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Soeprapto in the 67th minute of the match.
