Komar Linggawarman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bagol Garnita having to interfere. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Willy Bahalwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Willy Bahalwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bagol Garnita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ciburutung FC fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Ciburutung FC's Willy Bahalwan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 62 minutes into the match, Komar Linggawarman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bagol Garnita. Goegoek FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Komar Linggawarman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Karim Ballawi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hesky Woof came out and tried to block the shot, but Karim Ballawi slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute Komar Linggawarman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bagol Garnita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bagol Garnita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willy Bahalwan in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lukita Batubara got free with Hesky Woof in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Ciburutung FC's Hesky Woof got control of the ball when Lukita Batubara tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Komar Linggawarman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Goegoek FC booed when Ciburutung FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oman Nadeak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goegoek FC's Lukita Batubara got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Goegoek FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
