The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Cahyono Putro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ledi Romansyah, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Awa Durahman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Tomagola having to interfere. Hanif Febrian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Leonard Tomagola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Awa Durahman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hanif Febrian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonard Tomagola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the PSM Kamongan defense, Dasep Ismayana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Cahyono Putro. The PSM Kamongan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Cahyono Putro should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hanif Febrian in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonard Tomagola saved PSP Builalu from getting behind. The supporters of PSP Builalu booed when PSM Kamongan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yeyen Latuihamalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanif Febrian in the 43rd minute of play forced PSP Builalu's goalkeeper Leonard Tomagola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PSP Builalu's Leonard Tomagola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hanif Febrian in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ledi Romansyah made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dasep Ismayana in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Cahyono Putro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dasep Ismayana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Daniel Cahyono Putro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, PSP Builalu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imran Amiruddin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanif Febrian in the 72nd minute of play forced PSP Builalu's goalkeeper Leonard Tomagola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The PSP Builalu fans cheered their team off the field, for while PSM Kamongan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
