Ampibabo's Pepep Panggabean got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Guntur Wijasmara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eza Sutarsa. Ampibabo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guntur Wijasmara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Wawa Sarumpaet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eza Sutarsa having to interfere. Guntur Wijasmara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eza Sutarsa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Wawa Sarumpaet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eza Sutarsa was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Hendratmo Santoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frits Prayoga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hendratmo Santoso ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ampibabo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Inoeman.
