The referee ignored PSM Modjogedang's protests and gave Adam Papara a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Melati FC booed when PSM Modjogedang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Papara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Ignatius Rumbewas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yustedjo Suryadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignatius Rumbewas, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Melati FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after PSM Modjogedang's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. M. Ridwan Suhaya took the corner. The corner ended in M. Ridwan Suhaya almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PSM Modjogedang's Yustedjo Suryadi did a great save. Jimmy Arkananta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yustedjo Suryadi having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimmy Arkananta to strike the kick off in the second half. Togar Kartiwa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The PSM Modjogedang fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. PSM Modjogedang were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
