Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rusli Raweyai started the match with the kick off. Eza Lantang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aries Mardiansyah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Utha Sarumpaet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gambrengan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lubuklandai the free kick. In the 10th minute, Utha Sarumpaet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Heru Hadinata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rangga Matulessy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jehad Permana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eza Lantang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lubuklandai's zone, Rusli Raweyai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aries Mardiansyah came out of the goal and Rusli Raweyai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ijul Hamid during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gambrengan's Ijul Hamid got a free kick in the 28th minute. Gambrengan's Utha Sarumpaet got his second yellow card of the match in the 31st minute. The referee ordered Utha Sarumpaet off the ground. Utha Sarumpaet hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jehad Permana made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Heru Hadinata sent off a good shot on target. When Rusli Raweyai fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gambrengan's protests and gave Rusli Raweyai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, Gambrengan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusli Raweyai to maneuver through the defense. Jehad Permana made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Heru Hadinata sent off a good shot on target. Rusli Raweyai got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Gambrengan getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rusli Raweyai hit a great ball. Lubuklandai's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Khalis Kaisiepo in the 44th minute. The corner led Lubuklandai's Khalis Kaisiepo to fire away a dangerous shot which Jehad Permana despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rangga Matulessy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Abraham Siagian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rangga Matulessy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jehad Permana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Heru Hadinata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lubuklandai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rangga Matulessy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Rangga Matulessy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gambrengan's Jehad Permana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Lubuklandai fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Lubuklandai's Rangga Matulessy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rangga Matulessy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sutan Bagaskara charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sutan Bagaskara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Gambrengan got a freekick which was hit by Sutan Bagaskara. Heru Hadinata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
