Duloh Paat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Djaduk Heryuwono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franky Mangkudikusumah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kahar Suhastra, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Bento Karaeng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Franky Mangkudikusumah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Bento Karaeng got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Franky Mangkudikusumah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kahar Suhastra in the 29th minute of the match. Kahar Suhastra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franky Mangkudikusumah having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Zulkarnaen Samosir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, PS Jerusu's Andi Putra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Djaduk Heryuwono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Syahrul Brotoseno, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Syahrul Brotoseno struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Djaduk Heryuwono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PS Temiang. If Kahar Suhastra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Hamdani Prawiranegara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kahar Suhastra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Kahar Suhastra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PS Temiang's Franky Mangkudikusumah was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Syahrul Brotoseno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PS Temiang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Syahrul Brotoseno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adam Habib hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mahyadi Ekayana during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hamdani Prawiranegara charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
