Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) PSS Talang's Muchlas Leonard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Putra Kebonpete got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Christiawan. With a little luck, PSS Talang's Marsilam Sungkar got control of the ball when Aam Alatas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Pradnyana took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Asmadi Sundoro. Asmadi Sundoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of PSS Talang booed when Putra Kebonpete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dodo Khalid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramli Sonneville took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Asmadi Sundoro. Putra Kebonpete's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marsilam Sungkar made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Aam Alatas sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute Tommy Pradnyana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asmadi Sundoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aam Alatas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PSS Talang's Marsilam Sungkar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save PSS Talang from getting a goal against them. Ariel Christiawan struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Marsilam Sungkar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putra Kebonpete. If Tommy Pradnyana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in PSS Talang's zone, Aam Alatas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marsilam Sungkar came out of the goal and Aam Alatas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Muchlas Leonard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute Ariel Christiawan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marsilam Sungkar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aam Alatas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Marsilam Sungkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half PSS Talang were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marsilam Sungkar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sayuti Sukmara in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Ariel Christiawan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PSS Talang's Marsilam Sungkar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to PSS Talang getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ramli Sonneville hit a great ball. Marsilam Sungkar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ringgo Misrun in the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Seno Panjaitan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ariel Christiawan came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Putra Kebonpete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Christiawan couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aam Alatas in the 74th minute of play forced PSS Talang's goalkeeper Marsilam Sungkar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Endi Sutarman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. PSS Talang's Marsilam Sungkar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Christiawan in the 80th minute of play. Marsilam Sungkar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Christiawan in the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Tommy Pradnyana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSS Talang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Pradnyana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tommy Pradnyana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Muchlas Leonard managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSS Talang's supporters rose to their feet, but Muchlas Leonard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asmadi Sundoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PSS Talang eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
