When Hotman Surahman fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSM Balongasem's protests and gave Hotman Surahman a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes PSM Balongasem got a freekick which was hit by Hotman Surahman. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Binong:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PSM Balongasem:s goal. In the 71st match minute, PSM Balongasem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hotman Surahman to maneuver through the defense. Doyok Manaf kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Joshua Kondologit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PSM Balongasem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Sunar Sobarna came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the PSM Balongasem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sunar Sobarna couldn't finish the play. Joshua Kondologit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yadi Sentosa having to interfere. Binong's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
