The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Tino Tupamahu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ace De Fretes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ace De Fretes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tino Tupamahu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tino Tupamahu spun around in front of the goal 14 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Tjipodjok's goal. If Tino Tupamahu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Tino Tupamahu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ace De Fretes, passed just outside the right post. After 21 minutes, Wempy Yom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tjipodjok and the Junganyar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ace De Fretes made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Fauzan Widagdo sent off a good shot on target. Andik Wijaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dono Cahyadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tino Tupamahu made a kick off. When Tino Tupamahu came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Junganyar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tino Tupamahu couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Junganyar FC booed when Tjipodjok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ucup Birawa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes, Junganyar FC's Bertha Simangunsong shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ace De Fretes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Junganyar FC reached it. Tjipodjok's Ace De Fretes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tino Tupamahu in the 58th minute of play. If Fauzan Widagdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fauzan Widagdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 66th minute of the match Ucup Birawa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ucup Birawa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ucup Birawa kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Fauzan Widagdo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ace De Fretes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tino Tupamahu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tino Tupamahu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ace De Fretes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tjipodjok's Usep Rumbiak got a free kick in the 81st minute. Fauzan Widagdo might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ace De Fretes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fauzan Widagdo ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tino Tupamahu in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ace De Fretes saved Tjipodjok from getting behind. Tino Tupamahu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ace De Fretes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fauzan Widagdo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Usep Rumbiak during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Usep Rumbiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
