Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Barnabas Herawan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ikhsan Kartawidjaja struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Sukma Yuwono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baung FC. With a little luck, Baung FC's Sakti Makbul got control of the ball when Tora Akmal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sakti Makbul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barnabas Herawan's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Baung FC's Ikhsan Kartawidjaja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sukma Yuwono made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Baung FC booed when Kalisalak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Encas Razak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khalis Herlambang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sukma Yuwono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barnabas Herawan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Baung FC defense, Tora Akmal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sakti Makbul. The Baung FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sakti Makbul should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Baung FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barnabas Herawan came free, but Sakti Makbul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sukma Yuwono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalis Herlambang in the 43rd minute of play. Ikhsan Kartawidjaja kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Barnabas Herawan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sakti Makbul was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Khalis Herlambang made a kick off. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Baung FC! Sakti Makbul went to the wrong direction when Cornelius Nurapratama was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 60th minute, Mahadi Sutarya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Kalisalak's Encas Razak got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kalisalak's goalkeeper Sukma Yuwono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barnabas Herawan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sakti Makbul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barnabas Herawan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sakti Makbul having to make a save. Tora Akmal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakti Makbul having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Barnabas Herawan put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sakti Makbul. After having played for 81 minutes, Tora Akmal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalisalak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tora Akmal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kalisalak's Didiet Riyanto got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tora Akmal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sukma Yuwono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalis Herlambang in the 91st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yonas Hermawan during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kalisalak's Yonas Hermawan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Sakti Makbul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnabas Herawan in the 95th minute of play. Baung FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
