Rexy Thamrin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Diding Anggadiredja made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Aldi Bagjanata sent off a good shot on target. Diding Anggadiredja was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Rexy Thamrin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rexy Thamrin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in PS Hoeloedanau's zone, Aldi Bagjanata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diding Anggadiredja came out of the goal and Aldi Bagjanata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jahfal Rantung charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jahfal Rantung the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PS Hoeloedanau booed when PS Ranga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jahfal Rantung didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldi Bagjanata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diding Anggadiredja was a little too slow when Rexy Thamrin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. The PS Hoeloedanau fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when PS Hoeloedanau's Sugih Mustari looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 37th minute, Tubagus Fatary hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boy Rizaldi kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. PS Ranga's Bagong Prayoga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PS Hoeloedanau. PS Hoeloedanau's Diding Anggadiredja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save PS Hoeloedanau from getting a goal against them. Diding Anggadiredja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rexy Thamrin in the 44th minute of play. Didiet Nugroho kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Rexy Thamrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, PS Hoeloedanau's Sugih Mustari ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lelo Purbaya. Lelo Purbaya yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. When Boy Rizaldi fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PS Hoeloedanau's protests and gave Boy Rizaldi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Boy Rizaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sugih Mustari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diding Anggadiredja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rexy Thamrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes, Yasin Hendrawan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PS Hoeloedanau and the PS Ranga players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PS Hoeloedanau's Yasin Hendrawan got a free kick in the 72nd minute. PS Ranga's Bagong Prayoga got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aldi Bagjanata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sugih Mustari in the 80th minute of play forced PS Ranga's goalkeeper Lelo Purbaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to PS Hoeloedanau getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Tubagus Fatary hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes PS Ranga got a freekick which was hit by Ramang Nugroho. A hard shot 92 in the game by Darwin Hamid from a close distance when the talented Lelo Purbaya managed to make a qualified save. PS Ranga's players were relieved. Sugih Mustari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute of the match, Darwin Hamid got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lelo Purbaya was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
