Kalidawir FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Sugih Kili-kili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalidawir FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sugih Kili-kili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eri Mainaky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Seno Simbolon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kalidawir FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sugih Kili-kili hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes, PSM Bejijong's Stanley Sadikin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amri Badranaya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PSM Bejijong reached it. Adeng Simbolon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Anto Lunggana came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Kalidawir FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anto Lunggana couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Anto Lunggana made a precise shot to the right of Eri Mainaky. PSM Bejijong's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Anto Lunggana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eri Mainaky read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Eri Mainaky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anto Lunggana in the 38th minute. Eri Mainaky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seno Simbolon in the 41st minute of the match. If Seno Simbolon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Kalidawir FC got a freekick which was hit by Rudi Pangkali.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seno Simbolon was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Kalidawir FC's zone, Adeng Simbolon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amri Badranaya came out of the goal and Adeng Simbolon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amri Badranaya made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Sahat Wattimena sent off a good shot on target. PSM Bejijong's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stanley Sadikin in the 65th minute. In the 70th minute, Gendo Sujarwadi had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The supporters of PSM Bejijong booed when Kalidawir FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pance Hermawan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adeng Simbolon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Amri Badranaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eri Mainaky stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anto Lunggana's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Sugih Kili-kili kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Kalidawir FC's Amri Badranaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Kalidawir FC from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Sahat Wattimena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 played minutes PSM Bejijong got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Lengkong. Anto Lunggana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Eri Mainaky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. PSM Bejijong had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
