Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Rinto Limbong in the 8th minute of play forced Penebal's goalkeeper Cornelius Simbara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wahab Avianto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agil Hardjasoemantri, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a little luck, PS Soekaboemi's Wahab Avianto got control of the ball when Otto Affandy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in PS Soekaboemi's zone, Otto Affandy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wahab Avianto came out of the goal and Otto Affandy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Encas Soekarno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes PS Soekaboemi got a freekick which was hit by M. Dedy Kawilarang. If Agil Hardjasoemantri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Penebal booed when PS Soekaboemi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Tanujaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wahab Avianto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Cornelius Simbara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from M. Dedy Kawilarang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rinto Limbong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cornelius Simbara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Penebal's Cornelius Simbara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danu Yarman in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Penebal booed when PS Soekaboemi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. M. Dedy Kawilarang didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Otto Affandy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wahab Avianto. PS Soekaboemi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otto Affandy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Otto Affandy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wahab Avianto having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rinto Limbong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in PS Soekaboemi's zone, Otto Affandy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wahab Avianto came out of the goal and Otto Affandy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wahab Avianto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Affandy in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Otto Affandy made a precise shot to the right of Wahab Avianto. PS Soekaboemi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in PS Soekaboemi's zone, Otto Affandy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wahab Avianto came out of the goal and Otto Affandy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 minutes, Encas Soekarno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PS Soekaboemi and the Penebal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Encas Soekarno hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Penebal's Manuel Tarumanagara couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PS Soekaboemi. Holin Setiamiharja's late challenge caught a PS Soekaboemi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Holin Setiamiharja helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Rinto Limbong managed to get in a good position for a shot. PS Soekaboemi's supporters rose to their feet, but Rinto Limbong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelius Simbara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rinto Limbong in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelius Simbara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wahab Avianto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otto Affandy's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Otto Affandy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Penebal's goalkeeper Cornelius Simbara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Penebal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
