The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Apep Juanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kia Gumulya, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 11 minutes into the match, Kia Gumulya dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Apep Juanda, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kia Gumulya in the 15th minute of play forced Pasumba FC's goalkeeper Apep Juanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Sebastian Oktavianus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but M. Fachrul Sujarwo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Pasumba FC's Sebastian Oktavianus made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. M. Fachrul Sujarwo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pasumba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Kia Gumulya scored to the left of an out of position Apep Juanda, making the score, 2-1. Apep Juanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kia Gumulya in the 25th minute of the match. Pasumba FC's Apep Juanda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Pasumba FC from getting a goal against them. Gingin Suprianto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gingin Suprianto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Apep Juanda made a huge save. If Sebastian Oktavianus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Oktavianus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without M. Fachrul Sujarwo having to interfere. A collision led to PSP Bulukumpa getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Vicky Lesmana hit a great ball. The supporters of PSP Bulukumpa booed when Pasumba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Djalil Hadiningrat didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Dian Prabowo made the kick off in the second half. Apep Juanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gingin Suprianto in the 54th minute of the match. Gingin Suprianto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Vicky Lesmana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dani Kusumo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Uus Hadikusuma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sebastian Oktavianus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Sunar Setiadi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pasumba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSP Bulukumpa the free kick. Dani Kusumo charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dani Kusumo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pasumba FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Dani Kusumo hit a great ball. Pasumba FC's Sebastian Oktavianus got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 played minutes PSP Bulukumpa got a freekick which was hit by Vicky Lesmana. Sunar Utina's late challenge caught a PSP Bulukumpa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sunar Utina helped the player get up and apologised. Sunar Utina kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, PSP Bulukumpa's Gingin Suprianto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apep Juanda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastian Oktavianus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without M. Fachrul Sujarwo having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Dian Prabowo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sunar Setiadi kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Gingin Suprianto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PSP Bulukumpa had won after a very even match.
