Abdi Worabay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute Daud Subagdja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Husein Nurdjaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dian Burnama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdi Worabay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Husein Nurdjaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kanaseweli FC's Husein Nurdjaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Worabay in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Kanaseweli FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Rizal Rungkat hit a great ball. When Daud Subagdja came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Onondowa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daud Subagdja couldn't finish the play. Husein Nurdjaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daud Subagdja in the 22nd minute of play. Dian Burnama blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ardhika Kuswanto having to make a save. Husein Nurdjaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Worabay, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Dian Burnama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ardhika Kuswanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Daud Subagdja ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Husein Nurdjaman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Onondowa's Ardhika Kuswanto got control of the ball when Yasraf Karisma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ponco Djarot's late challenge caught a Onondowa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ponco Djarot helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Onondowa booed when Kanaseweli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ponco Djarot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rdth minute of the game Daud Subagdja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kanaseweli FC's Husein Nurdjaman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Ridho Ibrahim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kanaseweli FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Onondowa the free kick. Ridho Ibrahim hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Onondowa were awarded a corner. Andik Sarwono went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Andik Sarwono got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Husein Nurdjaman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Husein Nurdjaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daud Subagdja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Onondowa's Daud Subagdja ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Husein Nurdjaman. Husein Nurdjaman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Yasraf Karisma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Kanaseweli FC's Yasraf Karisma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ardhika Kuswanto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yasraf Karisma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ardhika Kuswanto having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yasraf Karisma in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ardhika Kuswanto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daud Subagdja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Husein Nurdjaman having to interfere. Abdi Worabay took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Husein Nurdjaman. Husein Nurdjaman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 90 minutes into the match, Onondowa's Abdi Worabay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Husein Nurdjaman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Daud Subagdja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kanaseweli FC's goalkeeper Husein Nurdjaman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Onondowa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
