Yudho Mahmudi's late challenge caught a Panopa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yudho Mahmudi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to PSP Wailbaloeng getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Yudho Mahmudi hit a great ball. If Andri Sugandi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes in the game, Awan Sahilatua fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Toni Husodo having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Panopa got a freekick which was hit by Jehad Sitanggang. Toni Husodo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Awan Sahilatua in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Panopa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jehad Sitanggang to maneuver through the defense. Panopa's Budi Roekito got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bonggo Pesolima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Budi Roekito in the 17th minute of the match. Budi Roekito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonggo Pesolima having to interfere. Engkus Supriadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bonggo Pesolima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Engkus Supriadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonggo Pesolima having to interfere. Bonggo Pesolima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Budi Roekito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Andri Sugandi made a precise shot to the right of Toni Husodo. Panopa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Panopa's Budi Roekito in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PSP Wailbaloeng's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th minute Engkus Supriadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonggo Pesolima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Engkus Supriadi to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Panopa booed when PSP Wailbaloeng was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Asmadirja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Engkus Supriadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonggo Pesolima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Andri Sugandi managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSP Wailbaloeng's supporters rose to their feet, but Andri Sugandi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toni Husodo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Andri Sugandi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Awan Sahilatua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toni Husodo having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, PSP Wailbaloeng's goalkeeper Bonggo Pesolima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Engkus Supriadi. Budi Roekito might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bonggo Pesolima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Budi Roekito ran back to his position shaking his head. When Panopa's Engkus Supriadi in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PSP Wailbaloeng's goalie prevented a goal. Toni Husodo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Awan Sahilatua in the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, PSP Wailbaloeng's Nyllaly Fingkreuw got a free kick in the 81st minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Budi Roekito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panopa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Budi Roekito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, PSP Wailbaloeng's Eduard Bajuri got a free kick in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Panopa's Jehad Sitanggang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bonggo Pesolima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.
