In the 8th minute, Karim Kuncoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Irza Pangkali kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Syaiful Rungkat. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Syaiful Rungkat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Syaiful Rungkat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irza Pangkali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Muchtar Likumahua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tjipara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Muchtar Likumahua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Syaiful Rungkat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Arul Ie fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bengkajang FC's protests and gave Arul Ie a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bengkajang FC's Arul Ie got a free kick in the 27th minute. Bengkajang FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Irza Pangkali scored to the left of an out of position Syaiful Rungkat, making the score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Bimo Hasanuddin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bengkajang FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bimo Hasanuddin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 40th match minute, Bengkajang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kemal Butar-butar to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bengkajang FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Karim Kuncoro hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Irza Pangkali to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Bimo Hasanuddin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zulham Adrianto was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Zulham Adrianto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bimo Hasanuddin in the 55th minute of the match. Bimo Hasanuddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Zulham Adrianto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Muchtar Likumahua notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Bengkajang FC's Syaiful Rungkat. Syaiful Rungkat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bimo Hasanuddin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zulham Adrianto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bengkajang FC's zone, Irza Pangkali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Syaiful Rungkat came out of the goal and Irza Pangkali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95thth minute of the game Irza Pangkali who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bengkajang FC's Syaiful Rungkat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bengkajang FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
