The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Sesulu FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dimas Asmara hit a great ball. The supporters of Sesulu FC booed when Kapantareh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nanang Amrizal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Sonny Revaldy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuralim Cahyana skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ortizan Alexander during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kapantareh FC's Ortizan Alexander got a free kick in the 14th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Sesulu FC's Sonny Revaldy tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Nuralim Cahyana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ipey Wiriadipura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Weldy Nasution in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Ruslan Wijasmara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Deni Tomagola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuralim Cahyana was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Weldy Nasution in the 32nd minute of play forced Sesulu FC's goalkeeper Ipey Wiriadipura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes, Kapantareh FC's Saul Kusumo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ipey Wiriadipura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kapantareh FC reached it. When Weldy Nasution came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Kapantareh FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Weldy Nasution couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Kapantareh FC booed when Sesulu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanley Sudiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ruslan Wijasmara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kapantareh FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruslan Wijasmara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ipey Wiriadipura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Weldy Nasution to make the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Ignatius Djarot put in a rough tackle. 51 minutes into the game, one of Sesulu FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 58th match minute, Sesulu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giring Mulia to maneuver through the defense. Ruslan Wijasmara might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ipey Wiriadipura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruslan Wijasmara ran back to his position shaking his head. Kapantareh FC's Weldy Nasution got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ruslan Wijasmara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sansan Gantina kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ruslan Wijasmara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kapantareh FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruslan Wijasmara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ipey Wiriadipura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frans Suryana charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frans Suryana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frans Suryana kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Weldy Nasution in the 77th minute of play forced Sesulu FC's goalkeeper Ipey Wiriadipura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ipey Wiriadipura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Weldy Nasution in the 86th minute of play. If Ruslan Wijasmara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kapantareh FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
