The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ishaq Djarot helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PSP Defoer's Ishaq Djarot got a free kick in the 6th minute. Sesulu FC's Ipey Wiriadipura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ishaq Djarot in the 8th minute of play. Sesulu FC's Ipey Wiriadipura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Sesulu FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sesulu FC booed when PSP Defoer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Herlambang didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Artha Pelangi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deni Tomagola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anas Waworuntu having to interfere. If Husin Widianto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sesulu FC's Ipey Wiriadipura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Sesulu FC from getting a goal against them. Ipey Wiriadipura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ishaq Djarot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anas Waworuntu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artha Pelangi in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Sesulu FC got a corner. PSP Defoer's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sonny Revaldy ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Artha Pelangi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Sesulu FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Husin Widianto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ipey Wiriadipura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Artha Pelangi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Deni Tomagola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Anas Waworuntu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, PSP Defoer's Anas Waworuntu got control of the ball when Deni Tomagola tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Deni Tomagola notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of PSP Defoer's Anas Waworuntu. Anas Waworuntu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Husin Widianto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ipey Wiriadipura having to interfere. Ishaq Djarot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Artha Pelangi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Deni Tomagola's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Anas Waworuntu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Artha Pelangi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ishaq Djarot in the 92nd minute of play forced Sesulu FC's goalkeeper Ipey Wiriadipura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sesulu FC's Ipey Wiriadipura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Husin Widianto in the 93rd minute of play.
