With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ibing Siregar in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ponaryo Suhastra saved PSM Goang from getting behind. The supporters of Mongge FC booed when PSM Goang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akri Handoyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ibing Siregar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes of play, Mongge FC's Sobur Cahyana made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ponaryo Suhastra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Novri Sagala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismed Lantang having to interfere. Novri Sagala was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 44th match minute, Mongge FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramdhan Levandy to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Alwi Silaban sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mongge FC's Ismed Lantang didn't even have to move. Tora Hudaya's late challenge caught a PSM Goang's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tora Hudaya helped the player get up and apologised. Tora Hudaya hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Ismed Lantang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Novri Sagala, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ibing Siregar to strike the kick off in the second half. Nuralim Tomagola hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Mongge FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anwar Sutha in the 66th minute. The corner ended in Anwar Sutha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PSM Goang's Ponaryo Suhastra did a great save. Malin Barkawi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Anwar Sutha from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Ponaryo Suhastra's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 76 minutes into the match, PSM Goang's Akri Handoyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismed Lantang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, PSM Goang's goal looked a bit too open when Ibing Siregar came free, but Ponaryo Suhastra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Akri Handoyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSM Goang's supporters rose to their feet, but Akri Handoyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismed Lantang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute Akri Handoyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismed Lantang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Novri Sagala put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ismed Lantang. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
