Aep Sialagan hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Frits Limbong hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Frits Limbong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Frits Limbong got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pulihan's Aswin Hamid got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in PSP Tolambo's zone, Komar Suryadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudi Widagdo came out of the goal and Komar Suryadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Pulihan's Entong Mangindaan got control of the ball when Frits Limbong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aswin Hamid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudi Widagdo having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Aswin Hamid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Komar Suryadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pulihan's supporters rose to their feet, but Komar Suryadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudi Widagdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Komar Sapulette in the 47th minute of play forced Pulihan's goalkeeper Entong Mangindaan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Komar Sapulette made a kick off. Entong Mangindaan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frits Limbong in the 55th minute of the match. Entong Mangindaan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Komar Sapulette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pulihan's zone, Frits Limbong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Entong Mangindaan came out of the goal and Frits Limbong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Pulihan's Ramlan Mega got a free kick in the 59th minute. Entong Mangindaan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Komar Sapulette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to PSP Tolambo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Dominggus Pinontoan hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Aswin Hamid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pulihan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aswin Hamid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Entong Mangindaan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Komar Sapulette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Komar Sapulette in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Entong Mangindaan saved Pulihan from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pulihan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
