Boy Setiamiharja hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Max Mega in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kahlil Sawali saved Laubatang from getting behind. Kahlil Sawali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponirin Gustomi in the 12th minute of play. The tension between the Laubatang and the Indihiang FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Laubatang's Kabul Mangindaan got a free kick in the 14th minute. Kahlil Sawali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ponirin Gustomi in the 15th minute of the match. Ponirin Gustomi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kahlil Sawali having to interfere. Kahlil Sawali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Mega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kahlil Sawali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ponirin Gustomi in the 24th minute of play. Indihiang FC's Nono Kurnaedi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Indihiang FC from getting a goal against them. Ponirin Gustomi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ponirin Gustomi came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Indihiang FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ponirin Gustomi couldn't finish the play. Jontar Ramdhani came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nono Kurnaedi could save by the left post. Darius Prabowo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, Laubatang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayu Syarifudin to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Indihiang FC's Burhan Salampessy broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Max Mega to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Laubatang got a freekick which was hit by Bulek Hutajulu. Max Mega was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Laubatang's Kahlil Sawali got control of the ball when Ponirin Gustomi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Indihiang FC defense, Darius Prabowo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nono Kurnaedi. The Indihiang FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nono Kurnaedi should have stopped the shot. Ponirin Gustomi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nono Kurnaedi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jontar Ramdhani's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Indihiang FC's Giring Ardisuta got a free kick in the 71st minute. Laubatang's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bayu Syarifudin in the 74th minute. The corner ended in Bayu Syarifudin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Indihiang FC's Nono Kurnaedi did a great save. If Jontar Ramdhani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ponirin Gustomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Kahlil Sawali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Darius Prabowo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nono Kurnaedi. Indihiang FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darius Prabowo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Indihiang FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
