Irwan Rosada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Eko Karamoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guntur Djauhari to make the kick off. Guntur Djauhari scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hendratmo Hutajulu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reza Sobarna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hendratmo Hutajulu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. If Irwan Rosada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes PSM Jodipan got a freekick which was hit by Lukman Suheri. In the 62nd minute, Irwan Rosada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eko Karamoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irwan Rosada in the 66th minute of play. Budiman Juandi kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, PSM Jodipan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Manaf to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Prabaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
