The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Eko Wiryodiprojo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Adi Astaman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Negariratu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adi Astaman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Djalil Salisbury breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eko Wiryodiprojo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djalil Salisbury having to interfere. Theo Al-Faruqi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Sihotang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theo Al-Faruqi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamdani Situmorang, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thomas Sihotang scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Theo Al-Faruqi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. PSI Roemadai's Djalil Salisbury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adi Astaman in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Sihotang to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game, Thomas Sihotang fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Theo Al-Faruqi having to interfere. When Hatta Rizaldi fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Negariratu FC's protests and gave Hatta Rizaldi a yellow card for diving instead. Djalil Salisbury didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adi Astaman went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Hamdani Situmorang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Al-Faruqi having to interfere. Theo Al-Faruqi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Sihotang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68thth minute of the game Thomas Sihotang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Negariratu FC's Theo Al-Faruqi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adi Astaman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Djalil Salisbury having to make a save. After having played for 78 minutes, Adi Astaman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Negariratu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adi Astaman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eko Wiryodiprojo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Putut Simpatiaji hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Hamdani Situmorang struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Theo Al-Faruqi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSI Roemadai. PSI Roemadai's Hamdani Situmorang got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PSI Roemadai's Djalil Salisbury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eko Wiryodiprojo in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, PSI Roemadai's Hamdani Situmorang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theo Al-Faruqi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
