The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ramli Da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without M. Andik Fingkreuw having to interfere. Daud Mustaqim might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Immanuel Latuihamalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daud Mustaqim ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aditya Syafruddin in the 10th minute of play forced PS Ujuna's goalkeeper M. Andik Fingkreuw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daud Mustaqim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 23 minutes of play, PS Ujuna's Daud Mustaqim made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Immanuel Latuihamalo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramli Da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aditya Syafruddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. M. Andik Fingkreuw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aditya Syafruddin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, PS Ujuna's goal looked a bit too open when Aditya Syafruddin came free, but M. Andik Fingkreuw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daud Mustaqim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mekunjung booed when PS Ujuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yoga Waskito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Aditya Syafruddin made a precise shot to the right of M. Andik Fingkreuw. PS Ujuna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The wind increased when Aditya Syafruddin made the kick off in the second half. Mekunjung's Immanuel Latuihamalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darto Avianto in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mekunjung's zone, Daud Mustaqim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Immanuel Latuihamalo came out of the goal and Daud Mustaqim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aditya Syafruddin in the 64th minute of play forced PS Ujuna's goalkeeper M. Andik Fingkreuw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mekunjung's Immanuel Latuihamalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darto Avianto in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daud Mustaqim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Immanuel Latuihamalo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Daud Mustaqim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PS Ujuna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Immanuel Latuihamalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daud Mustaqim in the 78th minute of play. If Aditya Syafruddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. Andik Fingkreuw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mekunjung. After a defensive mix-up in PS Ujuna's zone, Aditya Syafruddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. M. Andik Fingkreuw came out of the goal and Aditya Syafruddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Idrus Suryolaksono charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Idrus Suryolaksono the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes PS Ujuna got a freekick which was hit by Idrus Suryolaksono. Immanuel Latuihamalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darto Avianto in the 90th minute of play. M. Andik Fingkreuw made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramli Da Costa in the 93rd minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
