Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cecep Sophian made the kick off which started today's match. Pongky Suryadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Aswin Sopandi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecep Sophian in the 16th minute of play forced Mengkol FC's goalkeeper Daus Cahyana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gatot Wijatmiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Panda Mangkunagara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atang Yuwono's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Panda Mangkunagara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After 25 minutes, I Nyoman Puspito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mengkol FC and the Kalibajing players grew even worse after the yellow card. I Nyoman Puspito hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Mengkol FC's goalkeeper Daus Cahyana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pongky Suryadi. Gatot Wijatmiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panda Mangkunagara having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play Mengkol FC's I Nyoman Puspito was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Kalibajing. Bagus Sastrowardoyo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daus Cahyana. 1-0. Cecep Sophian hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gatot Wijatmiko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Atang Yuwono mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mengkol FC and the Kalibajing players grew even worse after the yellow card. Atang Yuwono kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Daus Cahyana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecep Sophian, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Cecep Sophian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daus Cahyana was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Gatot Wijatmiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kalibajing getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Erwin Setiadi hit a great ball. Pongky Suryadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daus Cahyana having to interfere. Daus Cahyana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecep Sophian, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Pongky Suryadi came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Kalibajing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pongky Suryadi couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd match minute, Mengkol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atang Yuwono to maneuver through the defense. If Gatot Wijatmiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panda Mangkunagara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gatot Wijatmiko in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Kalibajing's Endang Batola got a free kick in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kalibajing fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mengkol FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
