When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Dodik Sialagan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Barnabas Heryuwono to make any attempt to save it. Dimbi's Zein Argadinata got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rinto Sophian scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uus Hasudungan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute Zein Argadinata suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 26 minutes, Coky Setiamiharja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PS Soebjarei and the Dimbi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dimbi booed when PS Soebjarei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coky Setiamiharja didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Fauzi Ie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barnabas Heryuwono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dodik Sialagan in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Dodik Sialagan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PS Soebjarei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dodik Sialagan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the last second Barnabas Heryuwono throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dodik Sialagan in the 40thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rinto Sophian in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uus Hasudungan saved PS Soebjarei from getting behind.

Uus Hasudungan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rinto Sophian in the 58th minute of the match. Cakra Gustomi kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ricky Siahaya struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Uus Hasudungan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dimbi. M.
