Daud Bahalwan might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dodo Wattimena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daud Bahalwan ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Toeka getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ilham Basuki hit a great ball. Dodo Wattimena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gingin Rumangkit went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the match, Toeka's Awa Ballawi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donald Auri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gingin Rumangkit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lukita Kurnaedi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The supporters of PSM Pradapare booed when Toeka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilham Basuki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daud Bahalwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dodo Wattimena having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Toeka's goal looked a bit too open when Muchsin Rahardjo came free, but Dodo Wattimena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toeka's Dodo Wattimena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muchsin Rahardjo in the 28th minute of play. Dodo Wattimena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gingin Rumangkit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Toeka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilham Basuki to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gingin Rumangkit in the 33rd minute of play forced Toeka's goalkeeper Dodo Wattimena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daud Bahalwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dodo Wattimena having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Toeka's Zulkarnaen Lurahman got a free kick in the 35th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gingin Rumangkit in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dodo Wattimena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PSM Pradapare's Donald Auri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Ginting in the 40th minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, PSM Pradapare's Gingin Rumangkit made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dodo Wattimena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dodo Wattimena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daud Bahalwan, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gingin Rumangkit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Toeka got a freekick which was hit by Ilham Basuki. Daud Bahalwan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Dodo Wattimena made a huge save. Ilham Basuki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Auri having to interfere. Gingin Rumangkit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dodo Wattimena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zulkarnaen Lurahman during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Toeka got a freekick which was hit by Zulkarnaen Lurahman. Gingin Rumangkit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dodo Wattimena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Toeka's Dodo Wattimena got control of the ball when Daud Bahalwan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, PSM Pradapare's goal looked a bit too open when Awa Ballawi came free, but Donald Auri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, one of PSM Pradapare:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PSM Pradapare. 78 minutes into the game, Toeka's Cornel Ginting nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donald Auri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After some careless play in the Toeka defense, Daud Bahalwan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dodo Wattimena. The Toeka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dodo Wattimena should have stopped the shot. Daud Bahalwan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dodo Wattimena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gingin Rumangkit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dodo Wattimena having to interfere. Ilham Basuki kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Gingin Rumangkit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dodo Wattimena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Toeka's Cornel Ginting got a free kick in the 98th minute.
