The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes Lebakbulus got a freekick which was hit by Tata Karundeng. Zulfikar Wirahadikusumah might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joni Aryanto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. If Didiet Pritama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cepot Duaramuri fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lebakbulus's protests and gave Cepot Duaramuri a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Lebakbulus got a freekick which was hit by Cepot Duaramuri. After 26 minutes, Didiet Pritama made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lebakbulus's Joni Aryanto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Didiet Pritama got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, one of PSM Kertosono:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eet Sinambela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Imran Nurwahid having to interfere. 52 minutes into the match, Lebakbulus's goal looked a bit too open when Didiet Pritama came free, but Joni Aryanto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Lebakbulus's Joni Aryanto got control of the ball when Zulfikar Wirahadikusumah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joni Aryanto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eep Purba. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
