In the 2nd match minute, Lawala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endang Yom to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Rumbewas in the 5th minute of play forced Lawala FC's goalkeeper Okta Simbara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hendri Guritno in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Okta Simbara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Memed Likumahua struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Okta Simbara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSI Sungai. PSI Sungai's Achyar Bramantio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yusuf Marasabessy in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Endang Yom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lawala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Endang Yom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achyar Bramantio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Endang Yom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Achyar Bramantio made a huge save. Okta Simbara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendri Guritno in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lawala FC's zone, Nico Rumbewas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Okta Simbara came out of the goal and Nico Rumbewas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nico Rumbewas made a kick off. When Lawala FC's Endang Yom in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PSI Sungai's goalie prevented a goal. Achyar Bramantio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Marasabessy in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endang Yom in the 64th minute of play forced PSI Sungai's goalkeeper Achyar Bramantio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Endang Yom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Achyar Bramantio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lawala FC's Yusuf Marasabessy got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Okta Simbara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Rumbewas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Nico Rumbewas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Okta Simbara, 0-2. Yusuf Marasabessy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achyar Bramantio having to interfere.
