Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) PSI Sungai's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Tonton Setiadi scored to the left of an out of position Achyar Bramantio, making the score, 1-0. Cokro Linggawarman kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Tonton Setiadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achyar Bramantio having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Nico Rumbewas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Nico Rumbewas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aming Siahaya. Kotabangun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nico Rumbewas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Yoga Oktavianus came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Kotabangun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yoga Oktavianus couldn't finish the play. Yoga Oktavianus struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Achyar Bramantio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kotabangun. Aming Siahaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Rumbewas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aming Siahaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Rumbewas's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Tino Pakpahan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kotabangun's supporters rose to their feet, but Tino Pakpahan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achyar Bramantio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nico Rumbewas to make the kick off. Hendri Guritno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aming Siahaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hendri Guritno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aming Siahaya having to make a save. With a little luck, Kotabangun's Aming Siahaya got control of the ball when Hendri Guritno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kotabangun's Aming Siahaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Kotabangun from getting a goal against them. Tonton Setiadi might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Achyar Bramantio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tonton Setiadi ran back to his position shaking his head. Achyar Bramantio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonton Setiadi in the 73rd minute of the match. When Cokro Linggawarman fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSI Sungai's protests and gave Cokro Linggawarman a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes PSI Sungai got a freekick which was hit by Cokro Linggawarman. Achyar Bramantio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tonton Setiadi's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tino Pakpahan in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Achyar Bramantio saved PSI Sungai from getting behind. Kotabangun's Aming Siahaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Kotabangun from getting a goal against them. PSI Sungai's Nico Rumbewas got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tino Pakpahan scored 2-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Achyar Bramantio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tonton Setiadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kotabangun fans cheered their team off the field, for while PSI Sungai had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
