In the 5th minute, Ikhsan Laturua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jafar Arifin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Towaya FC's Jafar Arifin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krisna Kartolo in the 9th minute of play. Jafar Arifin made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Ikhsan Laturua sent off a good shot on target. Towaya FC's Jafar Arifin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Towaya FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Krisna Kartolo managed to get in a good position for a shot. PS Poemoloeloe's supporters rose to their feet, but Krisna Kartolo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jafar Arifin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ikhsan Laturua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jafar Arifin having to interfere. When PS Poemoloeloe's Krisna Kartolo in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Primus Sujarwadi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Syaiful Waroka made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krisna Kartolo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jafar Arifin saved Towaya FC from getting behind. Primus Sujarwadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Syaiful Waroka in the 55th minute of play. Ikhsan Laturua hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Krisna Kartolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jafar Arifin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ikhsan Laturua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jafar Arifin having to interfere. Jafar Arifin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krisna Kartolo in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, PS Poemoloeloe's Krisna Kartolo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jafar Arifin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nasrul Sunardi during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
