Jayeng Darmawan's late challenge caught a Laora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jayeng Darmawan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Laora's Usep Astrajingga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Primus Anggakusuma came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aang Syahrial could save by the left post. Usep Astrajingga struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Aang Syahrial didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laora. Sugih Batubara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desta Budikusuma, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Hanif Harahap shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aang Syahrial showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 29 played minutes PSM Buraen got a freekick which was hit by Jayeng Darmawan. In the 32nd minute, Primus Anggakusuma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primus Anggakusuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Aang Syahrial tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Primus Anggakusuma struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Aang Syahrial didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laora. PSM Buraen's Aang Syahrial proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save PSM Buraen from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Desta Budikusuma to make the kick off. Primus Anggakusuma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aang Syahrial having to interfere. If Primus Anggakusuma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sugih Batubara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sopian Sunandar in the 60th minute. After 63 played minutes Laora got a freekick which was hit by Naufal Tanujaya. Sopian Sunandar took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sugih Batubara. Sugih Batubara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 68th minute of the game, Usep Astrajingga landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 69th match minute, PSM Buraen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusron Mangkulangit to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Primus Anggakusuma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aang Syahrial was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jayeng Darmawan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sopian Sunandar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of PSM Buraen booed when Laora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ucok Wewengkang didn't get a good kick on the ball. PSM Buraen's Aang Syahrial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primus Anggakusuma in the 90th minute of play. If Naufal Tanujaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PSM Buraen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
