Asdi Ashraff took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dewa Simpatiaji. Samate FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nyangnyang Tirtajaya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Alexander went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Andre Kartasasmita might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nyangnyang Tirtajaya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andre Kartasasmita ran back to his position shaking his head. Nyangnyang Tirtajaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Alexander's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Samate FC's goalkeeper Dewa Simpatiaji had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donnie Karnawan.
