With 5 minutes on the clock, Ramdhan Hatala commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 5 minutes into the game, one of Kayuputih FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Piava FC a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Robin Pangalila, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kayuputih FC's Odoy Laturua. 0-1. Hendro Al-Haddad charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hendro Al-Haddad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Hendro Al-Haddad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Yesayas Salampessy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Umar Anggadikusumah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odoy Laturua having to interfere. Yesayas Salampessy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hanung Fabanyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yesayas Salampessy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Piava FC's zone, Yesayas Salampessy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hanung Fabanyo came out of the goal and Yesayas Salampessy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Odoy Laturua successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcel Wardhana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Hanung Fabanyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Kayuputih FC's goalkeeper Odoy Laturua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umar Anggadikusumah. Odoy Laturua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sentot Hardianto, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Sentot Hardianto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umar Anggadikusumah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odoy Laturua having to interfere. Odoy Laturua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sentot Hardianto in the 75th minute of the match. Odoy Laturua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sentot Hardianto, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Umar Anggadikusumah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odoy Laturua having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kayuputih FC's goalkeeper Odoy Laturua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Piava FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
