Agam Sopacua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th match minute, Crusader FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ichwan Munandar to maneuver through the defense. Januar Hatala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Irwan Poesponegoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aang Pulalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agam Sopacua, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Djakarta Union's Imam Kondologit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aang Pulalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Crusader FC's Sobur Purba got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 42nd minute, Ichwan Munandar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djakarta Union's Agam Sopacua got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 48 played minutes, Djakarta Union's Asep Mangkubumi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aang Pulalo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Djakarta Union reached it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agam Sopacua to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58thth minute of the game Imam Kondologit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crusader FC's Aang Pulalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agam Sopacua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aang Pulalo having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agam Sopacua in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aang Pulalo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Januar Hatala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Crusader FC's goal looked a bit too open when Imam Kondologit came free, but Aang Pulalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sahala Suheri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Irwan Poesponegoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Djakarta Union got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Wijoyo. Irwan Poesponegoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Januar Hatala in the 77th minute of play. The nice shot from Sahala Suheri in the 78thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Irwan Poesponegoro had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 79th minute, Ruben Wijoyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djakarta Union's Irwan Poesponegoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Januar Hatala in the 82nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Crusader FC's Januar Hatala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Irwan Poesponegoro. That made the score 2-1 after 89 minutes of play. Aang Pulalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Munir Chaniago in the 93rd minute of play. Sahala Suheri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Irwan Poesponegoro made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Djakarta Union had won after a very even match.
