The audience thought a goal was coming when Dodik Pesolima got free with Xaverius Sunarya in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xaverius Sunarya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dodik Pesolima in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sadewa Ekayana in the 17th minute of play forced Tjiguha's goalkeeper Butet Sawor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Butet Sawor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sadewa Ekayana in the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ayat Restiana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tjiguha's supporters rose to their feet, but Ayat Restiana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xaverius Sunarya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yandi Kuswanto during the 26th minute. 51 minutes into the game, Handoko Trihatmodjo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tjiguha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ambatjang FC the free kick. After 51 played minutes Tjiguha got a freekick which was hit by Handoko Trihatmodjo. Sadewa Ekayana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Butet Sawor having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tjiguha's zone, Firman Kotto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Butet Sawor came out of the goal and Firman Kotto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Firman Kotto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hikmat Sulaksana charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hikmat Sulaksana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
