In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Parungserab FC. Otto Asshidiq stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Muchlis Sumpena. 0-1. Hamka Tualasamony received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jaya Pardede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Parungserab FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Stevanus Sungkono hit a great ball. Jaya Pardede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasin Hutasoit in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Kholil Adrianto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yasin Hutasoit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jaya Pardede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Idrus Suryoprayogo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muchlis Sumpena having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match Jay Kundang shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Muchlis Sumpena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jaya Pardede made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yasin Hutasoit in the 23rd minute. Hamka Tualasamony's late challenge caught a Parungserab FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamka Tualasamony helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Hamka Tualasamony hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Parungserab FC's Piet Wijaya got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Parungserab FC! Hamka Tualasamony received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jaya Pardede didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The supporters of PSB Sungaiapung booed when Parungserab FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stevanus Sungkono didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind PSB Sungaiapung's goalkeeper Muchlis Sumpena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jaya Pardede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasin Hutasoit in the 65th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Muchlis Sumpena successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Yasin Hutasoit managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSB Sungaiapung's supporters rose to their feet, but Yasin Hutasoit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaya Pardede breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, PSB Sungaiapung's Emil Tarusbawa got a free kick in the 80th minute. Kholil Adriantos short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Muchlis Sumpena to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in PSB Sungaiapung's zone, Kholil Adrianto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muchlis Sumpena came out of the goal and Kholil Adrianto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute Hamka Tualasamony shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaya Pardede saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96thth minute of the game Yasin Hutasoit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parungserab FC's Jaya Pardede was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PSB Sungaiapung had won after a very even match.
